About Us

Project GRASP

The aim of the Global Risk and AI Safety Preparedness (GRASP) Project is to assess, map and encourage the adoption of AI solutions that ensure General Purpose AI and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) systems are developed and deployed safely for the common good.

GRASP Background

GRASP is led by the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG), and is supported by the Future of Life Institute (FLI). GRASP collaborates with Centre pour la Sécurité de l'IA (CeSIA) as lead research agency, and partners with Apart Research and the Beijing AI Safety Institute.

GRASP serves Project SAFE, a Global Partnership on AI (GPAI) initiative, managed by the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology's (NICT) Tokyo Expert Support Center.
